Arboricultural (tree surgery/felling)

Stump & root removal

  • We are able to remove stumps with our stump grinder (minimum access of 900mm required)

  • On larger sites, where access is possible we can use excavators for complete stump & root removal if required

Logs and wood chip mulch

  • Logs - we supply seasoned hardwood logs by the truck load (there are approximately 600 logs in a load, around 2.4 m3 loose stacked)

  • Wood chip mulch - composted for a minimum of 9 months, our mulch can be used on flower beds and around the base of newly planted trees and hedges to provide moisture retention and reduce weed growth

Recycling / environmental

  • All of the arisings produced from our tree surgery and felling operations are recycled

  • Brush wood is chipped and composted at our yard and is available as a woodland mulch

  • Timber is processed and broken down into logs for supply to customers in the local area (within 5 miles of our base)

  • Timber unsuitable for logs is chipped and turned into biomass wood chip which goes to a heat & power plant

  • If required, wood chip and timber can remain on site where access is possible

  • Use of suitable equipment & machinery to minimise journeys to and from sites and our yard

Fencing

  • Domestic fencing to include close board and palisade

  • Estate fencing to include post & rail, livestock, wire & mesh

  • Field gates, wooden & metal

Planting

  • We can supply and plant trees, hedges and shrubs to include semi-mature trees (up to 4 metres in height)

  • We can help you with choosing species to suit soil type, location and purpose
